"Dream-level" D&AD award for illustrator Lotte Siu - Middlesex University Press

I’m so excited to share this wonderful news: I was recently featured by Middlesex University as a recipient of a Portfolio Award at the D&AD New Blood Festival — an achievement I still feel is somewhat dreamlike. Middlesex University Press
What the Press Says

According to the article, I was one of just five illustration students across the UK to receive this award at D&AD — an event well known for spotlighting emerging talent in design, advertising, animation, and related fields.

It also notes that I was commissioned, through the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship, to design the festival’s official bandana. My design weaves together London landmarks with playful images — animals skateboarding, playing guitar — and the project was a delightful surprise.

Seeing festival-goers wear my artwork felt magical. The article quotes me saying, “D&AD has always been a dream-level award for me… Being commissioned by Adobe … seeing people wear my work around the festival was magical.”
