Created for the group exhibition Blue Days in the UK, held at hARTslane Art Gallery in London from 22–31 August 2025, this body of work explores the intangible losses experienced through migration, not only physical belongings, but also memories, identities, and emotional connections.
Drawing on real stories shared by people who have experienced migration, the work translates fragments of memory and emotion into a series of delicate, expressive illustrations.
The images are reimagined as a modular, cube-based puzzle, echoing the processes of disassembly and reconstruction inherent in the migrant experience. The piece reflects on how, even in the aftermath of loss, there remains the quiet possibility of reconfiguration—of building something new from what remains.
