Penguin Cover Design Award

This project is honoured to be shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards 2025, and was also selected as one of the ten finalists for the Penguin Cover Design Award.

Since the brief focused on creating a new design system while honoring Penguin’s founding principles, Myriorama felt like a compelling way to unify the covers. As an illustrator, I love when artwork takes the lead, and this approach allowed each cover to stand alone while also becoming part of something bigger—a continuous visual narrative, much like literature itself.

I reimagined the cover of Fifty Shades of Grey as a spectrum-style design for Little White Lies. Since it’s a film, I wanted to explore whether this visual approach would suit the subject.
